What This Is All About

This web site was originally put together back in 1999 and has had various versions since then. It was originally put together by John Holte who owns the domain name, apalategui.com and the web hosting service. He was joined by his sister Caroline Neumeyer, who had put together a lot of information for the July 1999 Apalategui reunion (and you can see much of that information on the web site). Our ambition was to get it going fairly robustly and to bring in our sister June Bryant. Ultimately we had hoped to provide space to anyone in the original ten families that wanted to put together a subdirectory site for their family.

However, as usual with most things like this, we otherwise have busy schedules and have not gotten anywhere as far as we would have liked. But we are always hoping to get back to it. Maybe this will be the year...

How to Get A Password

We didn't really want to have to use passwords, but since there is a lot of private information on this site (such as family trees) we wanted to have some sort of protection. To logon to the password protected area you will need two items, a login name and a password. To get these you will have to send an email to the address below and one of us will reply and send you the login name and the password (hopefully soon, but it depends on us regularly checking our email). We have devised the login name and the password so that they will be familiar to the family, but not so familiar to anyone else.
